Δύο νέες γραμματοσειρές έγιναν διαθέσιμες από το SIL International, Charis SIL Doulos SIL  μέσω της άδειας διάθεσης γραμματοσειρών Open Font License (OFL), Όπου βλέπετε το σήμα ofl, είστε σίγουροι ότι η γραμματοσειρά είναι πραγματικά ελεύθερη. Είναι πολύ θετικό που το SIL International προωθεί την διαδικασία δημιουργίας μιας ελεύθερης άδειας διάθεσης γραμματοσειρών. Σκοπεύουν να την χρησιμοποιήσουν για την διάθεση κάποιων γραμματοσειρών και ελπίζω μια από αυτές να είναι η Gentium, διότι περιλαμβάνει ελληνικά (μονοτονικό και πολυτονικό).
