Νέες ελεύθερες γραμματοσειρές από SIL International
Δύο νέες γραμματοσειρές έγιναν διαθέσιμες από το SIL International, Charis SIL Doulos SIL μέσω της άδειας διάθεσης γραμματοσειρών Open Font License (OFL), Όπου βλέπετε το σήμα ofl, είστε σίγουροι ότι η γραμματοσειρά είναι πραγματικά ελεύθερη. Οι δύο αυτές γραμματοσειρές δεν έχουν πλήρη υποστήριξη για ελληνικά (μονοτονικό). Περιλαμβάνουν όμως μεγάλη ποικιλία από άλλους χαρακτήρες. Simossimos.info

SIL Open Font License (OFL)
Είναι πολύ θετικό που το SIL International προωθεί την διαδικασία δημιουργίας μιας ελεύθερης άδειας διάθεσης γραμματοσειρών. Σκοπεύουν να την χρησιμοποιήσουν για την διάθεση κάποιων γραμματοσειρών και ελπίζω μια από αυτές να είναι η Gentium, διότι περιλαμβάνει ελληνικά (μονοτονικό και πολυτονικό).
