The Coptic alphabet
It is quite interesting to see that the Coptic alphabet is derived from the Greek alphabet, as it was used to write the language spoken in Egypt, from around 300BC to 1300AD. Γραμματοσειρές στο ελεύθερο λογισμικό
Προσπαθούμε να είμαστε σε μια κατάσταση όπου μια τυπική εγκατάσταση του Ubuntu να λειτουργεί και να δείχνει ικανοποιητικά ελληνικά δίχως να χρειάζεται η εγκατάσταση εξωτερικών πακέτων, ιδίως από την M$. Διαφορετικά, ας χρησιμοποιούμε windows και να ξεμπερδεύουμε. Μια τυπική εγκατάσταση Ubuntu 5.10 εγκαθιστά Simossimos.info

Κακή υποστήριξη Unicode από το Simple Machines Forum (SMF)
Αρκετοί χρήστες πρέπει να έχουν παρατηρήσει την πολύ κακή υποστήριξη Unicode στο λογισμικό του forum SMF. Συγκεκριμένα, δεν μπορεί να εμφανιστεί ο χαρακτήρας Π στο σώμα (body) μιας εγγραφής. Ο λόγος που συμβαίνει το πρόβλημα αυτό είναι εξαιρετικά απλός. Υπάρχει κώδικας στο SMF που Simossimos.info
